Assistant Station Manager – This position is the second in command and is for anyone looking to gain management experience. This position will train you to become a station manager, should you want to apply in the future. They also serve as treasurer for the organization. Reports to the station manager.
Program Director – In charge of the radio station itself. They will be the primary person who puts in everyone music and will be there to fix the station, if it ever goes down. Reports to the assistant station manager.
Social Media Manager – In charge of all social media operations, this may include Instagram, Facebook, etc. Reports to the assistant station manager.
RFR General Roles:
Program Director Assistant – Responsible for helping to add in peoples music and may learn some basic radio station fixes. Reports to the program director. Reports to the program director.
Social Media Assistant – Responsible for helping to create designs that will be posted by the social media manager. Reports to the social media manager.
Lead Content Screener – In charge of training the content screeners and deciding which music is radio appropriate and which is not. Reports to the program director.

Web Designer – Responsible for the RadioFreeRadford.com website (the one you are on right now!) Making sure it is up to date, functional, and fast! Reports to the social media manager.
Secretary – Responsible for taking notes during meetings and checking in every once and awhile with the assistant station manager.
DJs/Jocks – Responsible for running their own 30 minute or 1 hour radio talk show. Jocks are expected to attend weekly meetings and notify leadership should they miss their show.
