RFR Leadership:
Station Manager – Run the station, in charge of all operations.
Assistant Station Manager – This position is the second in command and is for anyone looking to gain management experience. This position will train you to become a station manager, should you want to apply in the future. They also serve as treasurer for the organization.
Program Director – In charge of the radio station itself. They will be the primary person who puts in everyone music and will be there to fix the station, if it ever goes down.
Social Media Manager – In charge of all social media operations, this may include Instagram, Facebook, etc.
Lead Content Screener – Responsible for guidelines on what is appropriate for radio and guiding the content screeners in the right direction.
Graphic Design Manager – In charge of promoting with fliers for any event hosted by RFR, as well as recruitment. Also responsible for the website and making sure it’s updated.
Lead Jock Trainer – In charge of making sure all of the jocks are properly trained to go on the radio.
RFR General Roles:
Program Director Assistant – Responsible for helping to add in people’s music. Reports to the program director.
Software & Equipment Support – Responsible for fixing the radio when there are any bugs or mishaps. Reports to the program director.
Social Media Assistant – Responsible for helping to create designs that will be posted by the social media manager.
Graphic Design Assistant – Responsible for helping to create promotional fliers that will be hung up around campus by the Graphic Design Manager
Content Screener – Responsible for deciding which music is radio appropriate and which is not.
Secretary – Responsible for taking notes during meetings and checking in every once and awhile with the assistant station manager.
Show Hosts/Jocks – Responsible for running their own 30 minute or 1 hour radio talk show.
Jock Trainer – Responsible for the training of the Show Hosts/Jocks.
